Municipal Election Backgrounder (August 2018) provides information on the many ways that municipalities affect the lives of seniors, and highlights three priority areas:  affordable, safe housing; supportive community services; and accessible transportation. Learn about the role of municipalities in addressing these issues.

Questions for Municipal Candidates (August 2018) offers a series of questions that seniors and friends can ask at all candidates meetings or when candidates campaign at your door. Take a copy with you and share it with family and friends.

Basket of Community Services Statement (August 2018), which Care Watch advocates, should be available to all seniors, regardless of where we live. Given the expected cutbacks in provincial services, municipalities will become even more important in supporting seniors to age safely in our own homes and communities.
