What we do

Care Watch is an organization led by senior citizens that advocates for improved home care and community services for Ontario’s older residents.

We monitor Ontario’s home care system and community services, and provide analysis and feedback to policy makers to improve the system’s quality, accessibility and equity.

What we envision

A home and community care system that is: effectively coordinated, seamlessly integrated, securely funded, and led by non-profit community based agencies.

What we believe

We believe that Ontario’s senior citizens must have:

CHOICES – Opportunities to make choices that will enable them to live at home with dignity and as much independence as possible.

A VOICE – The right to be involved in policy decisions affecting home care and community services.

SUPPORT – Access to community services and programs that help them to be productive, active participants in their own communities.
